Chahar missed the entire 2022 IPL due to a back injury and was also ruled out of the T20 World Cup in Australia.
“A player should not be disheartened by injuries. These things are not in the hands of the player. My priority right now is to stay fit and be available for the team. Whenever I get a chance, I will give my 100% for the team.” Chahar said this to PTI on the sidelines of a campaign event in New Delhi.
“In my case it can also be said that I was having a bad time. Last year I had a back injury, which is serious for a fast bowler, but now I am completely fit. I am focusing on my bowling at the moment. Very happy with.” ,
“I am trying to make a comeback in the national team. I recently played the RPL (Rajasthan Premier League) tournament. Till Sunday, I was at the National Cricket Academy. I was practicing with the Indian team, which was in China for this Going to the Asian Games.”
Since making his debut for India in 2018, Chahar has so far taken 16 wickets in 12 ODIs and 29 wickets in 24 T20Is.
He said, “A cricketer’s dream is to play the World Cup and win it for the country. I will try to fulfill it whenever I get a chance.” “I have won many tournaments in my first appearance. It was my first Asia Cup when India won it in 2018. I have played five finals in the last six IPL seasons and have been champion three times.
“I haven’t played the World Cup yet and whenever I get a chance, I want to contribute to the team’s victory.”
“I am very fortunate that I got a chance to spend time with Mahi Brother, I have been playing with him for many years. I consider him as my elder brother and my idol. I respect him a lot as a player and person. I learned a lot from him.”
